Andy Knight
Chair Hāpai Commercial Property Limited Partnership
Chair Hāpai Development Property Limited Partnership
Andy is the Chair of Taranaki Iwi Holdings Limited Partnership and is on the Boards of a number of investments held by Taranaki Iwi.
He has extensive governance and management experience having served as a Chair and Board member on listed companies, charities, investment companies, and start-up entities for over 10 years.
Sir Henry van der Heyden
Sir Henry is Chair of Raukawa Iwi Developments Limited. He has extensive governance experience, having served as a Chair and Board member on numerous listed companies and incorporations for close to 30 years.
Today, Sir Henry continues to hold Chair and Director roles across high-profile companies and a number of his own family businesses.
In 2009, Sir Henry was appointed a Distinguished Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit.
As Sir Henry approaches the back end of his corporate governance career, his focus is shifting to the regions where his family reside, and family businesses operate. His primary focus is on community and improving the lives of people that live within those communities.
Taari Nicholas
Taari has been and is a trustee and director to many iwi, hapū, trusts, incorporations and charitable trusts, including those with strong links to Taranaki.
He has been involved as a director of a range of companies involved in many industries including companies with a significant property and primary sector focus.
Paul Majurey
Chair Hāpai Housing Limited Partnership.
Paul has extensive governance experience. He chairs several statutory entities and companies, and is a director on many company boards, including the property sector. He also chaired three iwi/hapū collectives, comprising some 30 tribes.
Tony Sewell
Tony has had a very successful 45-year career in the property and construction sector, commencing his career as a quantity surveyor, then moving through various roles into property development and property investment.
Bronwyn Puata-Koroheke
Bronwyn is the current Director for Te Pakahi o Maru Management, the General Partner for Te Kahui Maru LP, and is on the Boards for a number of investments held by Ngāti Maru Iwi. She is a seasoned finance professional of 25 years working in the fields of Māori economic development – across the tertiary sector, broadcasting and Iwi settlements.

Koau Capital Partners Ltd is contracted as Hāpai Management and reports directly to the Board of Directors. Koau has a proven 12-year track record supporting Iwi commercial growth:
Comprehensive experience in Iwi investment management including supporting negotiation of commercial settlements, post-settlement structuring, investment strategy, executing commercial settlement rights, portfolio capital allocation and general management of Iwi commercial arms.
Successful track record of establishing, structuring and managing scale collective iwi investments in the property, agriculture, forestry, tourism, infrastructure, seafood and private capital sectors.
Dedicated property resource with strong property acquisition, funding, development management, value add and lease management experience.
